Car Slams into Grand Rapids Home

A car ran into a Grand Rapids home on the southeast side around 4 p.m. Friday. The house is located on the 900 block of Humbolt Street SE.

Police told WOOD-TV the car went airborne. The family inside the house were cooking dinner when they heard a bang. They grabbed their 1-year-old child who was in the family room at the time, and ran out the front door.

No one inside the home was injured. Police said the driver had a medical issue, which led to the crash.
